About Us

Drivers College is a non-profit entity whose ethos is “to save lives on our roads through early intervention education”. A purpose built driver education complex has been constructed Bundaberg Queensland, it’s purpose is to provide a safe off-road area for learner driver education.

When a driver gets their learners permit they lack the confidence and knowledge needed when facing the “on road driving experience” whether they are taught by their parents or a qualified driving instructor. Our comprehensive off road training prepares them for their pre licence practical experience.

The minimum age to be in one of our programs is 15 years of age with parental consent.

Programs vary depending on the level of the person booking and the program attainment status, starting from the basic level car setup, mirrors and cabin check also including steering, cornering, round-about, braking, emergency stopping, brake and evade, hazard awareness, different braking procedures, reversing, parking, slalom for controlled steering and much more.
Bookings are made by contacting our office by phone on 41 811 773 for dates and costs for the required program in both centers.

Programs vary in length from 5 hours to 12 hours depending on the program structure and the driver education required.

Program costs are set in accordance with the level of education required and the length of the program.  Payment preferred method is direct deposit to bank details set out on the invoice, no less than 7 days prior to the commencement date unless by special arrangement with our admin officer.

Because our driving education is carried out on our own unique complex no learners permit is required, our outreach center is also on private land thus the same conditions apply.

Drivers college programs commence generally in automatic to gain car control – if manual is requested some of the last half of the program will be allocated to this.

Drivers College provides all education vehicles and equipment except for 4WD training and caravan towing programs where it is best for you to learn in your own vehicle.
